This website has no advertising trackers or third-party analytics tools. Simple visit statistics that do not identify you and use no cookies are kept to improve the site. Your personal information is processed only when you use the Contact form or create an account; conversations you send while signed in are linked to your account.

If you change the language, that preference is stored only in your browser so the right language appears on your next visit. It is not sent to us.

We count which pages are viewed, language changes, clicks on links within the site and on the Preply profile link, and how quickly pages load. This counting runs on the website's own infrastructure; no third-party analytics service is used.

No cookie, identifier, IP address, browser details, or page address is stored. Only the type of page, the language, a screen-size class (phone, tablet, or computer), and the general kind of place a visit came from (for example, a search engine) are recorded. To limit excessive requests, your network address is summarized irreversibly with a key that changes every day and deleted within 7 days.

Information from the Contact form is never added to these statistics; only whether the form was sent, or why it could not be sent, is counted together with the chosen topic. Nothing is counted on private conversation pages.

If Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is turned on in your browser, nothing is sent. Detailed records are kept for 90 days and daily totals for 13 months.

When you send the form, your name, email address, the topic you choose, the subject line, your message, the page language, and the time you acknowledged this notice are stored. They are used only to reply to you and continue the conversation.

Messages and replies stay in this website's database. Your email address receives only a confirmation link, an access link, or a new-reply notice. These emails never contain your name, the subject line, or any message text.

Your conversation opens only through a single-use link sent to your email address. When you confirm the link, your browser receives a security cookie that opens only this conversation and lasts at most 30 days. A second security cookie, valid for 30 minutes, is used between opening the link and confirming it. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.

Activities are played without an account. When an activity is played without a personal link, the result is stored without any identity and used only in the activity's overall statistics; these records are deleted after 90 days.

For students who take lessons with Aslıgül, only a first name or nickname chosen by the teacher is kept; no email, phone number, date of birth, or password is requested. For activities played with a student's personal link, the activity, the time it was played, the score, and the answer to each question are stored. Only the teacher sees these details, to understand where a student needs help and to follow homework. They are never shared and are deleted after 12 months. To prevent a completed activity from being recommended again, the student and activity IDs, first and latest completion times, and completion count remain until the student record is deleted; this small record contains no answer or score.

When a personal link is confirmed, the browser receives a security cookie valid for at most 180 days that opens only that student's page. The "Sign out on this device" button on the student page removes it. When a student record is deleted, all of its results are deleted at once; a student or parent can ask on the Contact page for results to be deleted or for a copy.

Anyone can create an account on this site. There are three ways in. With an email and password, your name, your email address, and a salted one-way digest of your password are kept; the password itself is never stored, and because this route does not verify the address, such an account is never linked to one opened with Google or an email code. With Google, the site receives only your Google account ID, your email address, and your name; your profile photo, contacts, and any other Google data are not requested, and Google learns that you are signing in to this site. With an email code, a six-digit code is sent to your address; it is valid for 10 minutes and can be tried at most five times. Neither the code nor the address is kept in that record, only one-way digests used for checking, and the record is deleted after one hour. An account opened with an email code can later be used with Google for the same address; an account opened with Google can be used only with Google.

This information is used to recognise your account, show it on your account page, and show you the messages you wrote. It is not used for advertising, marketing, or site statistics, and it is never shared. Your account is not linked to your Preply lessons, payments, or student results.

When you sign in, your browser receives a security cookie valid for at most 30 days that only keeps you signed in. While an email code is pending, a separate security cookie is used for at most 10 minutes. Signing out ends the session.

Messages you send from the Contact page while signed in are linked to your account and appear only to you under "My conversations" on your account page.

Your account page shows the name and email address stored for you, and you can change your name there. The "Delete account" button deletes your account and all of its sessions at once. Your conversations stay, so Aslıgül's replies are not lost, but their link to your account is removed; you can also delete a conversation from inside it. Deleted data may remain in the 7-day safety backup that applies to all site data until that period ends.

The website and its database run on Cloudflare. The form's automated-submission check uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes some technical signals from your browser when the form page loads.

Notification emails are delivered through Resend, which receives only your email address and the generic notice text.

Unconfirmed messages are deleted after 7 days, and conversations marked as spam after 30 days. Confirmed conversations are deleted 180 days after the latest message. This period can be extended once by 180 days, with the reason recorded.

To prevent abuse, your network address and email address are summarized irreversibly with a key that changes every day, and these summaries are deleted within 7 days. Notification delivery records are kept for 30 days.

Because of the hosting platform's backup recovery window, deleted information can remain in backups for up to 7 more days.

The "Delete this conversation" button on your conversation page deletes the conversation and all of its messages immediately. If something needs correcting, or you would like a copy of the information held about you, you can write it in the conversation. If you lose access to your conversation, you can ask for a new link on the Contact page.

As with any website, the hosting infrastructure briefly processes technical connection data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. This data is not used to build profiles.

Links to Preply and LinkedIn take you to those platforms, where their own privacy policies apply. These links open without referrer information so your browser does not send the address of this page.
